1. Rental Agreement & VAT
The rental contract is legally binding upon the Customer’s signature, which confirms full
acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
All prices are inclusive of VAT unless expressly stated otherwise.
2. Insurance & Equipment
The rental price includes the legally required basic insurance coverage.
Optional insurance upgrades, such as theft protection, tire and glass damage waivers, are
available for an additional fee at the Customer’s discretion.
Vehicles are supplied with standard equipment, including a sealed odometer, warning
triangleand spare tire or repair kit.
3. Vehicle Pickup and Return
The Customer agrees to return the vehicle in the same condition as received, excluding
normal wear and tear.
Smoking inside the vehicle is strictly prohibited; any evidence of smoking or ashes will
incur a mandatory cleaning fee.
Transporting animals without proper containment that results in hair or odors will also incur
cleaning charges.
Vehicles are delivered with a full fuel tank and must be returned with the same fuel level
unless a prepaid fuel option has been selected; otherwise, refueling charges plus
administrative fees will apply.
Late returns may be subject to additional rental fees or penalties.
4. Payment and Credit Card Requirements
A valid credit card (Visa or Mastercard), issued in the Customer’s name and country of
residence, is mandatory for rental and security deposit purposes.
5. Driver Eligibility and Additional Drivers
Drivers must be at least 21 years old (minimum age may vary depending on vehicle
category) and hold a valid driving license held for at least one year.
Additional drivers may be authorized upon request, payment of an additional fee and
meeting the same eligibility requirements; they must be documented in the rental
agreement.
6. Maintenance and Vehicle Use
The Customer is responsible for routine maintenance during the rental, including tire
pressure, oil, coolant levelsand ensuring no warning lights remain active.
Any damage or malfunction must be reported immediately.
Negligence or failure to report may result in the Customer being held liable for all
damages.
The vehicle must be operated in compliance with all applicable traffic laws and only by
authorized drivers.
Prohibited uses include illegal activities, racing, towing, off-road drivingand transporting
hazardous materials.
Smoking inside the vehicle is strictly forbidden and will result in cleaning fees.
Violation of these conditions may lead to immediate termination of the rental contract and
legal action.
7. Traffic Violations, Tollsand Penalties
The Customer is solely responsible for all traffic violations, parking fines, tolls, congestion
chargesand associated penalties incurred during the rental period.
The rental company reserves the right to charge an administrative fee for processing these
charges and to disclose Customer information to authorities as required by law.
8. Mileage
Unless otherwise specified, unlimited mileage applies.
Where mileage limits are established, exceeding them will result in additional fees
calculated per excess kilometer or mile.
9. Base and Optional Services
The basic rental package includes the vehicle, mandatory insuranceand roadside
assistance.
Optional extras, such as additional driversand insurance upgrades, may be requested
during booking or pickup and are subject to availability and additional charges.
10. Accidents, Theft and Claims
The Customer must immediately report any accidents, theftor damages to the rental
company and complete the required documentation.
Failure to report may void insurance coverage and hold the Customer fully liable for all
costs.
Full cooperation in investigations and claims processes is required.
11. Charges, Payments and Deposits
All rental charges, including fees for optional services, fuel, tolls and penalties, are payable
upon vehicle return.
A security deposit will be pre-authorized on the Customer’s credit card and released
following vehicle inspection and return.
12. Contract Transfer and Vehicle Replacement
The rental contract and associated rights are non-transferable and may not be assigned to
third parties.
In the event of a mechanical breakdown not caused by the Customer, the rental company
will provide a replacement vehicle subject to availability.
If a replacement is unavailable, the Customer will be refunded for unused rental days.
13. Cross-Border Use
Use of the vehicle outside the rental country requires prior written consent from the rental
company and may incur additional fees or insurance requirements.
14. Roadside Assistance
Roadside assistance is included.
In the event of breakdown or emergency, the Customer must contact the rental company
immediately via the provided emergency contact number.
Unauthorized repairs or towing will not be reimbursed.
15. Lost and Found
The rental company is not liable for any personal items left in the vehicle.
Items found will be stored for a limited period and may be returned or shipped at the
Customer’s expense upon request.
16. Data Protection and Privacy
Customer personal data collected during the rental process will be processed in
accordance with applicable data protection laws.
Personal data will not be shared with third parties except as necessary to fulfill contractual
obligations or comply with legal requirements.
17. Force Majeure
The rental company shall not be held liable for any failure or delay in performance caused
by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural
disasters, strikes or governmental actions.
18. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the
rental takes place.
Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts within that
jurisdiction.
19. Language and Amendments
This agreement is provided in English.
In case of inconsistencies with any translations, the English version shall prevail.
The rental company reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time
without prior notice.
20. Acceptance
By signing the rental agreement or accepting the vehicle keys, the Customer
acknowledges that they have read, understood and accepted all Terms and Conditions in
full.
21. Cancellation Policy (Prepaid Bookings)
Prepaid bookings are subject to cancellation fees.
The Customer who cancels more than 24 hours before the scheduled pickup will receive
the refund without any type of fee.
In the event of a cancellation within 24 hours of pickup or a no-show, a surcharge of 30%
will be added to the full rental amount.
Changes to booking dates or times may affect rates and incur additional fees.
